Place Bets

On here I'm here to teach you how the place bets work and how much you can win on each box number that a place bet is made. We got the pass line bet with the pass line bet odds covered, you probably know the come bet with the come bets covered, now you're going to master how the place bets work.
For the place bet 4 you win $9 for every $5
For the place bet 5 you win $7 for every $5
For the place bet 6 you win $7 for every $6
For the place bet 8 you win $7 for every $6
For the place bet 9 you win $7 for every $6
For the place bet 10 you win $9 for every $5
Now for these to work you have to roll the box number that the place bet is on in order to win the bet.  You don't loose on that bet until the seven is rolled.  Once the seven is rolled you loose your place bet.
One secret that I will tell you is that you cannot take the bet down off the place bet once the point is established and you cannot take the bet down that you made for the come bet once that point is established.  Placing a bet on the pass line and the come is like a contract and that contract is over once a seven or the point is rolled.  You can however take the place bets down whenever you feel like you want to.  I'll fill you in on my other secret on the next post which will be the post for the lay bets.

Don't Come Bet With Odds

Those who read the don't pass bar bet with odds knows that we'll win $5 for every $6 wagered on the eight point and now we will win $4 for every $6 wagered on the nine if the seven is rolled for that odds bet that we have on the don't come bet.  We also have another don't come laid.  Say a seven is rolled we win even odds on the don't pass bar and the point that has been established on the don't come bet, but, we do loose on the don't come bet that has been laid.  We also win on the odds bet if the seven is rolled.

Come Bet With Odds

This is called the come bet with odds.  On here we have our pass line bet with odds behind it and we also have our come bet point established with odds on it. The come bet odds are exactly like the pass line odds.  Since it's on the 8 we win $6 for every $5 wagered because a seven can be rolled six times and the eight can be rolled five times.  Now, if the seven is rolled the only bet that wins is the come bet while the come bet point and the come out point looses.

Don't Come Bet

On here I'm showing you how the don't come bet works.  We have our don't pass bar bet with odds and as you can see that point has been established.  I also made a don't come bet already and that has been established at nine.  I also have another don't come bet that has been laid.  If a seven is rolled I loose on the don't come bet that has been laid.  I do on the other hand win a couple hundred.  I win the hundred that has been established, the hundred that is on the don't pass, and the 4/6 off the hundred so about 66 from the hundred on the odds bet off that don't pass bar.

Come Bet

Once the point is established you can make a bet called the come bet.  The come bet is similar to the pass line bet.  The way the come bet works is you win on the come bet if a seven or eleven is rolled.  You loose on the come bet once a two, a three, or a twelve is rolled.  If a box number is rolled the come bet is then moved to that box number and that box number must be rolled before a seven in order to win that come bet.  If the seven is rolled before the box number then you loose on that come bet.  You can make as many come bets as you want.  As you can see in the picture I already have the pass line bet with odds and the point is six.  I also have a come bet on a box number and I placed another come bet.  The way this bet works I win the pass line and the pass line odds if a six is rolled before the seven, I win on the come bet that has been moved to the five if the five is rolled before the seven.  On the come bet that I placed it's similar to the pass line bet on the come out roll.  If a seven or eleven is rolled I win before the box number is rolled, and I loose if the twelve, the two, or the three is rolled before the box number is established.

Advantages and Disadvantages on the Pass Line vs the Don't Pass Bar

If you're a numbers person you'll see that there are advantages and disadvantages to both the pass line bet and the don't pass bar bet.  On the come you roll you have an 8/4 odds of winning on the pass line bet.  That means you have 8 possibilities of a winning number being rolled on the come out roll vs only 4 possibilities that can be rolled to your disadvantage on the come out roll.  On the don't pass bar there are eight possibilities that can hurt you vs only 3 possibilities that can turn you into a winner on the come out roll. On the come out roll I give the pass line bet the advantage and the don't pass bar bet the disadvantage.
Once a point is established you have a disadvantage.  Let me show you that disadvantage the numbers on the left showing how many possibilities each number can be rolled and the six showing how many times the seven can be rolled
Number Times for each number : Seven
4 3 times to roll a 4 vs 6 times to roll a seven
5 4 times to roll a 5 vs 6 times to roll a seven
6 5 times to roll a 6 vs 6 times to roll a seven
8 5 times to roll a 8 vs 6 times to roll a seven
9 4 times to roll a 9 vs 6 times to roll a seven
10 3 times to roll a 10 vs 6 times to roll a seven
You get an advantage if you're betting the don't pass bar once the point is established and a disadvantage if you're betting the pass line once the point is established.

Don't pass bar laying odds

If you're betting the don't pass bar you can also do something called laying odds once the point is established.  In this article I will show you how much casinos pay in terms of odds.
For the number 4 the casinos pay 3:6 odds.
For the number 5 the casinos pay 4:6 odds.
For the number 6 the casinos pay 5:6 odds.
For the number 8 the casinos pay 5:6 odds.
For the number 9 the casinos pay 4:6 odds.
For the number 10 the casinos pay 3:6 odds.

You have to pay more to get less because the odds of the seven coming out before the established number is greater.
